Let the fun begin...

A couple of weeks ago a nice neighbor and friend called and asked if we would like to have their trampoline. What? The kids have been wanting a trampoline for a long time. We have the perfect spot for it too. So of course, we said "YES!".
The first week we had the trampoline the kids jumped on it for hours a day and by bedtime everyone was exhausted. It was great.

Then the weather warmed up so we attached a sprinkler to the tramp and the kids jumped in their swimsuits.

Here are a few highlights of all the fun the kids have been having on the trampoline.

This is Jake attempting his front flip.

I am not sure what Emma is doing here but I am sure she is having fun!

Brandon was very impressed with how high he could jump. Just look at the concentration on his face. Love it!!

YEAH FOR TRAMPOLINES!!!

Just for fun...I added this photo of a drawing Brandon made of the Easter Bunny and a carrot. I especially love the ears on the Easter Bunny. :)

My dad told me about this great website were you can get a laundry basket full of fresh fruits and vegetables for $15 ($25 for organic).

Bountiful Baskets are available in Utah, Nevada and Arizona. In North Las Vegas the baskets are available every other week. You recieve what ever is available and in season.

In my first basket I recieved the following:

11 snack sized apples
8 0z. mushrooms

6 oz. blackberries
1 bag of large carrotts
1 cantelope
1 pineapple
1 small bunch of broccoli
10 bananas
1 bunch swiss chard
1 bunch romaine lettuce

I was pleasently surpised at all the food I recieved for only $15. You can order whenever or want, there is no commitment. The pick up place is at the Mountain Crest park of Durango and Lone Mountain. If you are interested go to bountifulbaskets.org.

Easter 2010

We spent the Easter weekend in Richfield, Utah at Matt's parents house. First thing on the agenda was egg decorating. This year the kids cousin Radisyn got to join them in the fun.Next was the egg hunt. Matt's mom hid 90 eggs for all the kids and adults to find. Each person had a certain color of egg to find. Apparently this is a family tradition from Matt's mom's side of the family. How I did not know about this for the past 12 years is odd. I can't remember the last time I hunted Easter eggs. Everyone had fun of course. Brandon showing off the first egg he found.
The kids with all their eggs. Most of them were filled with candy but one was filled with $5. Boy do we love Grandma Sue's egg hunt. The Easter baskets.

Brandon showing off his chocolate bunny that the kids get every year for Easter.

Brandon playing his new "fishing"game with Grandpa Bruce.
After all the fun of the egg hunt on Saturday and checking out what the Easter Bunny brought on Sunday morning we were able to sit down and watch general conference. After that we had a nice lunch that Matt's mom prepared. Sadly we ended up having to leave shortly after lunch to get home.
If I had one complaint it would be the weather. It was Spring Break for crying out loud and it snowed while we were there. As always it was fun to visit with family.
