I am sure some of you are confused because you know that Emma has been homeschooled this year and you are wondering how she could be in the school choir. Well the school she was attending is really nice and the choir teacher is really cool and let her continue with the choir even though she was no longer enrolled at the school.
So she has been practicing every Tuesday and working really hard. The choir she is in not only sings but plays instruments too. It was a neat, fun, interesting, very short performance (only 15 minutes). The choir sang at the schools multicultural night so they sang songs from other countries in other languages. I had no idea what they were saying but the songs were pretty.
Here are just a few pictures from the performance. I was not sitting in the ideal spot and I need a bigger zoom lense on my camera so the pictures are not that good. Good luck finding Emma in them!!
Here she is front and center. That one was easy.
This is Emma and Allie announcing a song together.
Back row second from the right.
She is not looking at the camera. She is in the middle talking with her teacher.
This is Emma and her friend Allie, the choir teacher and her assistant.
She has really enjoyed being in the school choir here in Las Vegas and in California. She has been in a school choir since she was in 2nd grade. She is planning on being in the school choir when she goes to middle school next year too. We look forward to more great concerts!!!
